- 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate chips until smooth. Stir in the matcha powder until fully incorporated and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and kosher salt.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, then mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour just until no streaks remain.
- Pour the combined batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Evenly drizzle the slightly cooled matcha ganache over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For richer flavor, use high-quality white chocolate.
Ensure the matcha powder is finely sifted for a smoother texture.
