Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup bisquick mix
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup salted butter, melted
- 29-ounce can sliced peaches, well drained
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and position the rack in the middle. Spray a 9×9 inch glass baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In the baking dish, whisk together the bisquick mix, milk, and melted butter until blended smoothly.
- In a separate bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.
- Pour the peach mixture over the batter, distributing it gently so the peaches are evenly spread.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes until the top turns light golden brown and the center has a slight jiggle. Look for bubbling juice at the edges.
- After baking, let it sit for 10 minutes before scooping and serving with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
Ensure peaches are well drained to avoid excess moisture in the cobbler.
For added flavor, consider using fresh peaches instead of canned, when in season.
Serve warm for the best flavor with whipped cream or ice cream.
