Instructions
- In a deep container with a tight-fitting lid, combine the sugar, salt, pepper, water, and vinegar. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Add the cucumber, onion, and garlic, then stir until all ingredients are submerged in the liquid.
- Let the mixture sit for 2 hours. Drain the salad, garnish with dill, and serve. This salad pairs well with heavier dishes.
