Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups (594g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter
- ⅔ cup (172g) evaporated milk
- 12 oz (340g) white chocolate chips
- 7 oz marshmallow creme
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk, stirring constantly until it reaches a full boil.
- Attach a candy thermometer to the pan or use an instant reading thermometer, and let the mixture boil, stirring constantly, for 4-5 minutes or until it reaches 234ºF.
- Remove from heat and add the white chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, salt, and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined.
- Carefully pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan.
- Let the fudge cool and set completely before cutting, at least 4-6 hours, but overnight is recommended.
Notes
Ensure that the fudge has completely set before cutting to achieve clean edges.
Using a candy thermometer is key for perfect consistency and texture.
For flavor variations, consider adding nuts or swirls of peanut butter before setting.
