- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large glass microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Microwave on full power for 1 minute, then microwave in 10-second intervals if necessary until melted when stirred.
- Stir in the salt and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Add the mini marshmallows and chopped peanuts, stirring to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. Allow the fudge to set and cool completely, a minimum of 4-6 hours but preferably overnight.
- Once set, cut the fudge into squares and store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.
Notes
Make sure to cool the fudge completely before cutting to ensure clean edges.
For a twist, you can add different nuts or toppings to suit your taste.
