Ingredients

- 1 cup frozen mango chunks, thawed
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila or mezcal
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz mango puree
- 1 oz pure carrot juice
- Tajin, dehydrated orange slice, pineapple leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor until smooth, making enough for about 3 cocktails, so double if needed.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of a cocktail glass and coat it with tajin.
- In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients along with a handful of ice.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds and then pour over ice in a glass.
- Garnish with pineapple leaves and enjoy your drink!
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sugar based on your sweetness preference.
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and enjoy a virgin mango margarita.
Ensure mango chunks are thoroughly thawed for a smoother blend.
