- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter until well blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix; small lumps are okay.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
- For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, adjusting the heat as necessary.
Notes
Add vanilla extract for an extra flavor boost.
These pancakes freeze well for quick breakfasts later.
Top with fresh fruits or syrup for a delicious serving.
